Description
Ibex House is an office building constructed in 1937 by the architectural firm Fuller, Hall and Foulsham. It features a red frame construction, with the ground floor faced in black faience and the upper storeys in buff-coloured faience. The building has an elongated H-plan and stands 11 storeys tall, with the top three storeys of the main block recessed. Designed in a "Modernistic" style, it includes continuous horizontal bands of windows with metal glazing bars. Each facade has a vertical emphasis created by curved glazing in the main block and black faience strips. The ground floor facing Minories has been refenestrated, and the western entrance has been altered.
