Description
No. 11 Rosslyn Hill is a detached house that was formerly the manse of the Congregational Church, built around 1770. The building is constructed of brown brick with a red brick dentil cornice and pediments. It has two storeys, an attic, and a semi-basement. The northeast front faces the drive and features a central three-light canted bay, flanked by single window bays, with the left-hand bay being blind. There is a central pedimented attic bay above.
The northwest entrance front has two windows, with the right-hand window being blind. It includes a timber Doric portico, a round-arched doorway with panelled reveals, a patterned fanlight, and a panelled door. The southwest garden front has three windows and a central architraved doorway that has been altered for use as a window, with a console-bracketed pediment. There is a 20th-century Venetian type French window to the right and a central pedimented attic storey. The southeast garden front features a ground floor canted bay. The interior retains some original features.
