Description
No. 207 High Holborn is a terraced house and shop dating from the earlier 19th century. It is constructed of yellow stock brick and features a stucco cornice and blocking course. The building has five storeys and two windows on the front, with a four-window return on the right side, some of which are blocked. The wooden shopfront includes an entablature topped with iron cresting and flanked by consoles, although the shop window has been altered to include large panes. There is a house doorway at the return, which is adorned with pilasters that support an entablature. The architraved sash windows, which retain their original glazing bars, have consoles that support projecting cornices above the two windows located above the shopfront. The interior has not been inspected.
