Description
Albany Lodge is a detached house built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of stucco and has two storeys plus a basement. The building features five windows, with the two on the right side paired on both floors within a slightly recessed bay. The ground floor has round-arched openings that are architraved and linked by impost bands. The doorway is framed by pilaster-jambs, topped with a cornice and includes a fanlight above a panelled door. The windows are sash style, with margin glazing on the ground floor and square-headed sashes with architraves on the first floor. The building is finished with an entablature that has roundels on the frieze and a blocking course. The attached cast-iron railings, which feature spearhead finials, are present in the areas surrounding the property. The interior has not been inspected.
