End of terrace house, projecting, with main facade to Gough Street. c1823-28. Built by N Stallwood. Ground floor altered later C19. Yellow stock brick with rusticated stucco ground floor and plain 1st floor band. Stucco cornice at 3rd floor level. 4 storeys and basement. 2 windows to Calthorpe Street; 3 windows (1 blind) to Gough Street. Round-arched ground floor openings. Doorway with architraved hood and moulded impost bands linking architraved window hoods. Recessed panelled door with quarter columns, and radial fanlight. Ground floor windows in shallow plain stucco recesses; with margin lights. Gauged brick flat arches to recessed sashes; 1st floor to Calthorpe Street and left hand window to Gough Street with cast-iron balconies. Parapet. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached cast-iron railings with spearhead finials to areas. (Survey of London: Vol. XXIV, King's Cross Neighbourhood, Parish of St Pancras IV: London: -1952: 62).
