Description
No. 32 Steeles Road is a detached house built in 1876 by JM Brydon. It is constructed of red stock brick and features a pitched tiled roof. The house has two storeys, an attic, and a semi-basement. At the corners of the building, there are brick Doric pilasters on both the ground and first floors. On the left side, there is a square-headed doorway with a panelled door that has glazed top panels, which is accessed by steps. Above this doorway, on the first floor, is an oculus with a keystone. To the right, there is a full-height canted bay window, and the attic window extends well above the eaves, topped with a pyramidal roof and a finial. The house also features tall chimney stacks on the gable ends. The interior has not been inspected.
