Description
1 and 3 Flask Walk are a pair of terraced cottages dating from the early 18th century, with later shops added. No. 1 has been altered and refronted in the mid-20th century and features painted brickwork. It has a tiled roof with a dormer and retains its original roof timbers. The building is two storeys high with an attic, displaying two windows and a recessed entrance bay. The early 19th-century wooden shopfront includes a mid-20th-century fascia and a slightly splayed window with some original glazing bars. The first floor has recessed sash windows and a parapet.
No. 3, also from the early 18th century, has been altered and has a stuccoed front with an 'S' tie plate. The rear is timber-framed with weatherboarding, and it features a slated mansard roof with a dormer. This building is also two storeys high with an attic and has two windows. The shopfront is a reproduction from the 19th century, while the first floor has flush framed sashes with exposed boxing and a parapet. The interiors have not been inspected.
