Description
The Roundel Club is a former warehouse that has been converted into a social club. It dates from the late 18th century, with a date of 1793 marked at the east end. The building features random flint and red brick on the north and south walls, while the west gable end, which faces the street, is made of 20th-century red brick. It has a slated mansard roof and stands two storeys tall with attics.
On the north side, there is a range of four windows, all of which are small-paned sashes set in deep red brick reveals. The south side has a three-window range, also with small-paned sashes in flush cased frames. The west front includes two 20th-century small-paned sashes and late 20th-century boarding at the ground storey. The north side features three sloping dormers on the lower slope of the roof, each with 8-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
