Description
The Fulford Conservative Club is a house that has been converted into a club, dating from around 1810, with alterations made in the late 19th or early 20th century. It is constructed of brick with painted rendered dressings and has a slate roof.
The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are sashed and feature painted rendered lintels. The central bay includes a black-painted panel on the first floor, which has a painted lintel and a projecting sill. Below this is a doorcase with fluted pilasters, a fanlight, and an open pediment. The panelled hardwood doors are from the late 20th century. There is a truncated axial chimney located behind the ridge to the left. To the right of the main structure, there is a single-storey addition with three bays, and the left-hand return gable wall features two single-storey brick canted bay windows. The interior has not been inspected.
