Description
The Sheffield Central Deaf Club is a house that has been converted into a club, dating from around 1830, with a later addition at the back added in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof topped with a single gable stack. It has a plinth, a moulded band at the first floor, and moulded wooden eaves. The structure is three storeys high and has a three-window range of 12-pane sash windows, with the central window featuring a moulded architrave, while the other windows have brick flat arches. Above these, there are three 9-pane sash windows. The central entrance is marked by a wooden doorcase with pilasters and a pediment, which holds a beaded six-panel door and an overlight. The interior has not been inspected.
