House, now offices. Early-to-mid C19 with a fragmentary earlier rear wing. White brick; slate roof with a wide modillion eaves soffit; timber framed rear wing. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and cellar to front range; 3 storeys to an overlapping rear range; 2-storey rear wing. 5 window range: long 12-pane sashes in plain reveals with flat gauged arches. A raised brick band runs between the storeys. A central 6-panel door with a plain rectangular fanlight has a wood doorcase with fluted pilasters and a cornice. The garden to the south side of the house has a high boundary wall, mainly in kidney flint with a plain red brick coping. This is attached to the south-east corner of the front and extends round the corner into Cadney Lane. INTERIOR: no timber-framing is exposed inside and most features date from the early C19. Internal window-shutters with sunk panels; good moulded plaster cornices in the ground storey front rooms; stair with stick balusters and wreathed handrail. One window at the back is in Gothic style with pointed heads to the lights and spandrels filled with coloured glass. An attic fireplace has a small cast-iron grate in Gothic style.
