Description
46 and 47 Cannon Street is a pair of houses, likely originally built as one, dating from the early 19th century, with a probable older core. The buildings are timber-framed, with a front made of white brick and rendered sides, topped with old plain tiles. They are two storeys high and feature three windows on the upper storey, all of which are 16-pane sashes set in plain reveals with projecting stone sills. The ground storey has two similar windows with segmental-arched heads to their surrounds. There are three doorways: one at the north end and two at the south end. The steep pitch of the roof suggests an earlier core, although no older features are visible inside.
