Description

This is a churchyard monument located in the Great Churchyard of Bury St Edmunds. It is a large box-tomb with pillars, made of Ketton stone, and dates from 1798. The monument commemorates Susannah Rackham, who died in 1798, John Rackham, who died in 1821, and Susannah, his wife, who died in 1823. The information is based on a survey of monuments in the Great Churchyard conducted around 1960 by West Suffolk County Council.
