Description

This is a churchyard monument located in the Great Churchyard of Bury St Edmunds, dated 1818. It is made of Ketton stone and serves as a tombstone with a head and foot. The monument commemorates James More, who died in 1818, his wife Mary, who passed away in 1833, and their daughter Mary, who died in 1893. It features a high coffin-tomb design with a panel that is separated by pilasters adorned with eggshell festoons. The headstone is topped with an urn, which is flanked by winged angel heads.
