Description

There are two churchyard monuments located in the Great Churchyard of Bury St Edmunds.

Monument 5 is a headstone from the late 17th century or early 18th century, made of Ketton stone. It is sunken and lacks any surviving date or inscription. The headstone features a slightly bellied cartouche, a winged angel head, and a crude skull.

Monument 6 is a headstone from the 18th century, made of York stone. It commemorates P. Peppen and is decorated with a delicate winged angel head.
