Description

A pair of churchyard monuments located in the Great Churchyard of Bury St Edmunds. The first monument, MON 177, is a headstone made of York stone, dating from the 18th century. It commemorates Ann, the wife of Samuel Chilver, and features a winged angel head and foliage. The second monument, MON 177A, is also a headstone, dating from 1769, dedicated to Richard, the son of Robert and Mary H. This monument similarly displays a winged angel head and foliage.
