Description

This is a churchyard monument located in Bury St Edmunds, specifically in the Great Churchyard. The monument is an octagonal pedestal tomb, built in 1839, dedicated to Henry Reed, who passed away in 1864, along with five of his children: Matilda (1842), Henry (1866), Thiza (1839), George (1845), and Jane (1848). It is noted as a very fine tomb created for a local stonemason and his family.
