GV II
Shop with store rooms above and dwelling to right. Early C18 with early C19 and mid C20 alterations. 2 storeys; a central range of 4 windows with central doorway and flanking narrow 2 storey wings 1 window wide, the main facade continuing for 1 window to left and right. Rendered brick walls with scratched ashlaring, string course at 1st floor and shallow recesses with semi-circular heads in the gable of each wing. Hipped slated roof, rebuilt early C19 with higher eaves and lower pitch (a small section of the earlier roof remains, plaintiled, to right), the wings having gables with broken pediments. Sash windows with small panes - a number at front and rear have early C18 sashes with thick glazing bars and unusually small panes. The central facade up to 1st floor between the wings was removed mid C20 and a 1-storey flat-roofed shop, which is not of special interest, added to the front.
