Description

Laundry Cottage is a house dating from the early 16th century. It is 1 and a half storeys tall, constructed from timber framing and plaster, with some evidence of simple pargetting. The roof is thatched, and there is an internal chimney stack. To the left, there is a small single-storey extension with a single-pitched roof. The cottage features two 2-light casement windows from the 20th century and one older 3-light small-paned casement window. There is also a dormer with a 2-light window that has square leaded panes. The entrance is through a plank door, and there is a fire insurance sign displayed on the front.
