Description

No. 8 The Street is a 17th-century house featuring two storeys and attics, designed with a two-cell plan and a lobby entrance. The building is timber-framed, with an early 19th-century brick front made of red and grey bricks laid alternately in Flemish bond, and rendered sides. It has a plaintiled roof and an internal chimney stack with a plain shaft. The house includes two 19th-century casement windows with arched heads and a central doorway that is slightly recessed.
