Description

This is a 17th-century house located to the east of The Old Shop (Mr. R. Bailey) in Pakenham. The building is one and a half storeys tall and has a two-cell lobby-entrance plan. It is timber-framed with old roughcast and features a slate roof. The house has two sash windows, each with a single vertical bar in flush frames, and it includes two-panelled external shutters. There are also two gabled dormers that have early 20th-century fluted bargeboards. The entrance features a four-panel part-glazed door from the late 19th century, which is set within a plain doorcase topped by a flat pediment.
