Description

Compton Cottage is a 17th-century cottage featuring 1 and a half storeys and a two-cell plan. It is constructed with a timber frame and plaster, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage has an internal chimney stack with a plain gault brick shaft. To the left, there is a small single-storey addition with a fully hipped roof. The building includes two three-light casement windows and one two-light casement window in the dormer, all of which are from the 20th century.
