Description

Wash Cottage is a house dating from the late 16th century. It has one and a half storeys with attics and features three windows. The structure is timber-framed and rendered, with some of the framing partially exposed. The roof is covered with pantiles and includes pantiled gabled casement dormers. There is an axial chimney made of red brick, dating to around 1600, which has a recessed panel for the date. The cottage has mid-20th century casements and an entrance door. Additionally, there is a blocked diamond mullion 5-light window in the gable above the parlour chamber.
