Description
Chapel Cottages, a pair of cottages from the 18th century, are 1½ storeys tall with attics and feature three windows. They are timber-framed and rendered, topped with a thatched roof that has a decorated ridge. The cottages have axial chimneys made of red brick and gabled casement dormers with plain tiled roofs. The windows are mid-19th century, featuring 2-light small-paned wrought iron casements, while the entrance door is from the 20th century. Cottage number 2 has a gabled cross-wing, with its main components reused from a substantial 16th-century house.
