Description

No. 2 Nethergate Street is a small house built in the early 19th century using gault brick. It has two storeys and features a single window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars, set in plain reveals. The doorway is framed by a wooden doorcase with panelled reveals, fluted pilasters, and a cornice. The roof is covered with slate. This building is included for its group value with Nos. 1 to 9 (consecutive) and all the listed buildings on the north-west side of Nethergate Street, as well as those on the south side of Well Lane.
