Description
Reedhouse Farm Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is one storey high with attics and has a three-cell plan. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, featuring some herringbone pargetting at both gables, one of which is dated 1849 at the apex. The cottage has a thatched roof and an axial chimney made of red brick from the 19th century. There are two casement windows from the 18th century or early 19th century, each with three lights. The entrance door is a panelled half-glazed door, likely from the 19th or 20th century. Inside, the typical plain framing is exposed, and the first-floor joists are set on edge with a slight chamfer.
