Description

This is an early 19th-century house, likely built on an earlier core possibly dating back to the 17th century. The house has a timber frame and plastered walls. It is topped with a low-pitched slated roof, featuring paired modillions beneath the eaves. The rear chimneys are red brick, with two having shafts decorated in a 17th-century style. The house has three storeys, with the upper storey being added in the 19th century, and it contains seven windows with early 19th-century small-pane sashes. A Greek Doric portico porch with fluted columns and an entablature containing triglyphs fronts the entrance. The front door is a pair of 3-panelled doors with boarded reveals.
