Description
New Farmhouse is a farmhouse, probably from the 17th century, featuring a three-cell plan that includes a parlour crosswing on the left. The building stands two storeys tall, with the crosswing having attics. It is timber-framed and plastered, topped with plaintiled roofs that are hipped to the right and rear. There are two axial chimneys with 18th and 19th century red brick shafts. The windows are 19th and early 20th century casements, some of which have transoms. The front has various lean-to extensions from the 19th and 20th centuries, while the main entrance is located at the rear. The interior has not been examined, and there is a partial medieval moat surrounding the property.
