Description

Chickering Corner Farm Cottage is a part of a former farmhouse, now functioning as a single dwelling. It dates from the late 17th century and underwent renovations in the mid-20th century. The cottage is timber framed and plastered, topped with a pantiled roof, and has one and a half storeys. It features three windows with mid-20th century standard small-paned casements, a mid-20th century gabled porch on the right, and three mid-20th century gabled dormers. There is a small internal stack, and the frame includes many re-used components with straight primary braces. The roof is supported by diminished butt purlins.
