Description
Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the late 16th century, with the main part of the building rebuilt in the mid or late 17th century. The rear wing is likely from the 18th century and was originally a detached structure. The farmhouse is timber framed and plastered, topped with a pantiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic, arranged in a three-cell form. The building features various casement windows from the 19th and mid-20th centuries, and there is a boarded door to the right. Inside, there is an internal stack, and the frame is largely intact, showing reversed bracing in the earlier sections. The service end has re-used chamfered joists, and there are newel stairs present.
