Description
The Croft is a former farmhouse that has been converted into two dwellings. It dates from the 17th century and features a timber-framed structure with plastering and a pantiled roof. The building is 1 and a half storeys high and has a three-cell layout. It includes various metal-framed casement windows from the mid-20th century, two gabled dormers, and two doorways: one in the center with a 20th-century panelled door and another to the right with a 19th-century panelled door set in a contemporary wooden gabled porch. There is an internal stack, and the right-hand cottage has plain studding. The service room contains substantial square joists, while chamfered joists are set flat in the hall. The interior of the left-hand cottage has not been examined.
