Description
Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, built in two phases to create a three-cell house. To the left, there are 17th and 18th century service ranges, which include a former dairy. The building has mid-20th century additions and is constructed from timber framing with plaster, featuring exposed studding on the facade. The roofs are covered with modern concrete pantiles and the house stands two storeys tall. It has three windows with mid-20th century large-paned casements. There is a lobby entrance with a gabled porch that matches the facade style, and it has a mid-20th century boarded door. To the left, there is a second doorway with a matching door and a lean-to hood. The internal stack has a lower part of the shaft rendered, while the upper part has been rebuilt. To the left, a lower section connects to a 1.5-storey former dairy range that is set forward towards the road. The interior has been modernized, with most of the structure concealed, and the roof has not been examined.
