Description

Grove Farmhouse is a former farmhouse dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with a small 19th century wing added to the rear. The building is timber framed and roughcast-rendered, topped with a pantiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic, designed in a three-cell, lobby-entry layout. The windows are casements from around 1900, featuring slender horizontal glazing bars. There is a wide gabled porch from the mid-20th century with a semi-glazed double door. The internal stack has a plain oblong shaft, which is likely original. The interior has not been examined.
