Description
This barn, located 50 meters southeast of Willow Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century and features five bays. It has an original gabled porch at the center of the north side. The structure is timber-framed and weatherboarded, with a corrugated iron roof that was once thatched. The barn doors are boarded. Inside, there is heavy timber-framing throughout, which has been reused from a 15th or 16th-century building. The primary tension braced close studding and a butt purlin roof are notable features, with the rafters tenoned into the purlins. The principal posts in the porch have cyma carved jowls.
