Description

High Pastures is a former farmhouse dating from the early 17th century or earlier. The building is two storeys high and features a three-cell cross-entry plan. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, and it has an asbestos-sheeted roof that was originally thatched. There is an axial chimney made of painted brick, likely from the 17th century, along with another single flue chimney on the left side. The windows are 19th or 20th century casements, and there are two entrance doors that are set within 20th century glazed porches. The interior has not been examined.
