Description

Tudor Grange is a former farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It has two storeys and a three-cell plan, with a cross-wing on the left side. The building is timber-framed and plastered, while the right side features a gable made of red brick, which may be from the 17th or early 18th century. The roof is thatched and includes an axial chimney made of 17th-century red brick, along with another chimney at the right-hand gable. The windows are 20th-century casements, and there is a 20th-century lean-to entrance porch with a boarded entrance door. The structure displays unmoulded 17th-century framing, primary-braced studding, and on-edge floor joists, with cruck-like posts that support a collar beam.
