Description
Ramplins Farmhouse is a former farmhouse that dates from the early 17th century or earlier. It has two storeys and is constructed of timber framing with plaster, featuring some 18th or early 19th century cable-pattern pargetting. The roof is plaintiled and includes a central chimney made of red brick from the 17th or 18th century. The first storey has small-pane casements from the 19th century, while the ground floor has 20th-century windows. There is a boarded entrance door from the 19th century. To the right, a cross-wing projects to the rear, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier, though its hipped roof was formed in the 18th or 19th century. To the left, there is a lower two-storey block, and to the right, a 19th-century outshut. The interior has not been examined.
