Description

Whitehouse Farmhouse is a farmhouse, likely built around 1600. It has two storeys and attics, featuring a three-cell lobby-entrance plan. The structure is timber framed and plastered, topped with a plaintiled roof that includes a central red brick chimney. The windows are small-pane sashes and casements from the 19th century. There are two entrance doors from the early 19th century, each with six panels; the door on the right has an eared architrave that continues around an oblong fanlight, topped with an open pediment. The parlour cell to the right is likely a 19th-century addition.
