Description
Valley Farmhouse is a farmhouse that was once an inn, dating from the late 18th century, with an earlier rear wing that may date back to the 16th century. The building is timber-framed and plastered, featuring a concrete tiled roof that was originally covered with plain tiles, and has external end chimneys made of red brick. It stands two storeys tall and has three windows, which are mid-20th century casements. The entrance door, dating from the late 18th century, has six panels with the upper panels being glazed, and is adorned with a broad architrave and a moulded and dentilled cornice. The lower and earlier rear service range has a plain tiled roof and may represent the main part of the earlier house.
