Description

This barn, located 20 meters south-west of Street Farmhouse, dates back to the late 16th century. It features three bays and is constructed from timber framing with weatherboarding, topped by a pantiled roof. A 18th-century porch is situated at the center of the west side, which includes a set of four boarded barn doors. The barn showcases good complete studwork with arch windbracing and has a windbraced clasped purlin roof. The arch-braces at the open trusses were replaced around 1800 with bolted knees. Additionally, an upper floor was added in one bay during the 19th century.
