Description

This is a mid-18th century house that was once two cottages. The original structure has a timber frame with plaster walls, and the ground floor is faced with whitewashed brick. The roof is covered in pantiles. The property is two storeys high and has a symmetrical 19th-century facade. It features two windows on each floor; the upper floor windows are 2-light casements, and the ground floor windows are 12-paned sash windows. There are two doorways, each with a semi-glazed door, one of which is now disused. A chimney stack is located against each gable end. A later addition on the right side of the building is not considered to be of particular architectural interest. The building is included on the list for its group value.
