Description

The United Reform Church is a chapel built in 1820, which was renovated and re-seated around 1896. It is constructed of red brick with a slated roof and stands two storeys high. The facade is symmetrical with three bays, featuring a flat parapet that has two projecting brick courses. The wide central bay is flanked by stuccoed pilaster strips that support a stuccoed frieze and gable. The building has inset sash windows with glazing bars, with the upper windows having semi-circular heads and stuccoed arches. A tripartite central window includes margin panes. The doorway is adorned with fluted pilasters and an entablature, and it has paired two-panel doors. The interior has not been examined.
