Description
This building, originally a single house and now divided into two at 15 and 17 Chancery Lane, dates to the 16th century. It is timber-framed, with exposed first-floor studding visible on the front facade. The ground floor has been encased in red brick dating to the 18th and 19th centuries. The roof is covered in pantiles. The building has a three-cell structure, with two storeys and an attic. 20th-century metal casement windows are fitted with small panes of glass. There are two mid-20th century doors. An internal stack features a rendered shaft. The interior has not been inspected.
