Description

Tye Farmhouse is a former farmhouse that likely has a core dating from the 16th century or early 17th century, with remodelling from the early 19th century. The building has two storeys and is constructed from timber framing, which is pebble-dashed. It features plaintiled hipped roofs, with the cross-wing on the left side having gablets. There is an external end chimney made of red brick on the right side and an axial chimney in the wing. The windows are early 19th-century small-pane sashes. The entrance has a gabled plaintiled porch that contains an inner six-panelled door.
