Description

Waveney Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the early 16th century. It features a timber frame with plaster, and the left gable end is covered with whitewashed brick. The roof is thatched and the building has two storeys. Most of the windows are casements from the mid 20th century, but there is one 18th-century three-light window on the left side. Inside, there is an internal stack, which appears to have been added later, indicating that the building may have originally been an open hall house. The right-hand end has a queen-post roof. At the back, there is a mid 20th-century flat-roofed addition with an entrance door.
