Description
Park Farmhouse is a former farmhouse that has been converted into two dwellings. It dates from the late 16th century to the early to mid-17th century and was built in two phases. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with a roof made of concrete pantiles. It is likely a three-cell house that was extended by an additional in-line cell to the south. The building has two storeys and features various casement windows, all without glazing bars, with some being of mid-20th century standard type. On the east side, there is a lobby entrance that has a mid-20th century panelled door. Above this doorway is a decorative pargetted oval wreath that encloses a painted design of foliage and the initials 'B' over 'JS', which is dated 1691. The internal stack has a rendered axial shaft, while the stack at the south gable end features a cross-axial shaft. The interior has not been examined.
