Farmhouse, late C16 and early C17 with fragmentary C15 core. 3-cell lobby- entrance plan. One storey and attics. Timber-framed and plastered. Concrete pantiled roof, once thatched; an axial C17 chimney of red brick, the shaft rebuilt above the thatch line in mid C20. 3 mid C20 gabled casement dormers. Mid C20 casements. Mid C20 gabled porch at lobby-entrance position with framed and boarded door. Part of a C15 2-centred arched service room doorway is exposed, with adjacent framing; no other medieval work is visible, and later alterations are very extensive throughout. The parlour block to right has exposed framing of c.1600. A wide C16 open fireplace in the hall, the lintel being cambered and having traces of early painted decoration. C17 clasped-purlin roof and service cell to left.
