Description
Upland Cottage comprises two cottages, originally a house, dating from the 17th century or earlier. The building is of two-cell plan and has a timber frame with old roughcast plaster. It features a thatched roof with a 19th-century casement dormer window. An axial chimney has a rebuilt 18th or 19th-century shaft constructed of red brick. There is a 18th-century brick gable chimney to the left. Various 19th and 20th-century casement windows are present. A 19th-century extension with a pantiled roof and a boarded entrance door is located to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
