Description

Star Orchard is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It has one storey and attics, featuring a two-cell plan. The building is timber-framed and plastered, with the front elevation displaying false mid-20th century half-timbering. The roof is thatched, and there is an axial chimney made of buff narrow bricks from the early 17th century or late 16th century. The windows are 20th-century casements with leaded glazing. There is a flat-roofed one-storey mid-20th century extension on the left and another on the right, which includes a recessed entrance porch. The interior has not been examined.
