Description
Hill House is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, originally constructed with a timber frame and plastered walls. It is a single-storey building with attics. The roof is half-hipped and covered with modern plain tiles, and there are 20th-century extensions to the north side. A ridge stack features 17th-century angled shafts, although they are likely rebuilt. A 20th-century flat-roofed dormer has been added to the south-facing roof slope, and there are also 20th-century casement windows. The interior reveals exposed bridging and floor joists, indicating a 3-bay house plan.
